Black Bean Protein Brownies

This combination of black beans (packed with protein), protein powder, oats (healthy carbs), maple syrup (minerals), and cocoa powder (antioxidant & magnesium rich) equals a healthy indulgence!

Black Bean Protein Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of black beans (rinsed)
  • 1/4 cup aquafaba (black bean water from the can)
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 3 tablespoons coconut oil or olive oil
  • 5 tablespoons 100% maple syrup or agave
  • pinch of stevia or add 1.5 tbsp of maple syrup
  • pinch of Himalayan salt
  • 2 teaspoons all natural vanilla extract
  • pinch of baking soda (aluminium-free preferred)
  • pinch of baking powder (aluminium-free preferred)
  • 1 scoop LeanFit completegreen protein powder
  • 1 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • Materials:

    • food processor or blender
    • spatula
    • square (8 by 8 inch) baking tray
    • measuring cups and spoons

    Instructions:

    1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
    2. Place all the ingredients except for the vegan chocolate chips into a food processor or blender.
    3. Blend or process on high until a smooth and creamy-like batter form.
    4. Fold the vegan chocolate chips into the batter.
    5. Grease or line a square baking tray with parchment paper.
    6. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
    7. If they look under-cooked, don’t worry, (there is nothing raw in this batter)

    8. Let sit for 10 minutes to cool.
    9. Slice & Enjoy!
