LeanFit Ambassador Dave Chamberlain shared an energy balls recipe he uses to fuel his everyday life and endurance sports.

He calls these LG Energy Balls. The L stands for LeanFit and ‘G’ is his daughters nickname.

Approximate values per ball 180cals, 17g carbs, 10g protein, 9g sugar, 4.5g fibre


LG Energy Balls


Dry Ingredients

  • 3 C Rolled oats
  • 2-1/2 C Koala Crisps (or any puffed cereal)
  • 1/2 C Chia seeds (ground)
  • 3/4 C Flaxseed (ground)
  • 3/4 C Hemp hearts
  • 2 C Coconut (ground)
  • 1/2 C Cacao powder (not cocoa)
  • 1 C Pumpkin seeds (ground)
  • 1 C Carob chips
  • 6 scoops of any Leanfit Protein


Wet Ingredients

  • melted 1-1/2 C honey
  • 3-1/2 C Natural PB
  • 2 tsp vanilla


  1. Grind dry ingredients if necessary
  2. Mix together all dry ingredients
  3. Mix wet ingredients in smaller bowl and then add to dry mixture
  4. Mix/blend together until dry ingredients disappear
    * if seems a bit dry, add small amount of water and mix until easy to roll into balls
  5. Once thoroughly mixed, shape mixture into balls
  6. Store in fridge or freezer
