Nutty Banana Shake

This is a kid-friendly delicious shake full of protein, fibre and calcium. Using almond milk, which is high in calcium and lower in calories than dairy milk, provides a creamy base for this smoothie.


This recipe may be suitable for individuals sensitive to lactose as whey proteins have less than a gram of lactose per serving.


You can substitute the chocolate flavoured whey with PowerStart Protein or vanilla flavoured whey along with cocoa or chocolate syrup.

Nutty Banana Shake



  • 1/2 scoop of Chocolate Whey
  • 1 cup of almond milk
  • 1 small banana (frozen or fresh)
  • 1 tbsp of almond butter
  • 1 tsp cocoa (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
