The whey protein sources in LeanFit® Whey and LeanFit® Isolate are produced by a unique combination of ultrafiltration and cross-flow microfiltration. This is done by forcing the lactose and other undesirables through the membrane at high pressure. The proteins which are too large to be forced through remain, thus creating a whey protein concentrate with a higher percentage of protein than before. Cross-flow microfiltration is a state-of-the-art high tech manufacturing process that uses ceramic filters to remove the fat, lactose, and other unwanted materials, hence isolating the protein. The protein is not subjected to chemicals, therefore it is left unharmed and in its original state.
